Last Will and Testament, 30 January 1843

In the name of God Amen
I William Nickle of Richland Township Venango County Penn being weak in body of of sound and perfect mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following (that is to say) I first give and bequeath to my youngest son Daniel D. Nikle all my real and personel property and he the said D. D. Nickle shall provide a suitable maintanance for his mother during her life and pay each and every one of my other sones and daughters the following sum to James William Willson and John the sum of two Dollars each to my son Andrew ten Dollers to my Daughter Sarah Platt ten Dollars to my Daughter Elisabeth five Dollars to my Daughters Hannah Jane and Mary each one Cow to my Grand sone Fergus Johnston ten Dollars to be paid when he arives at the age of twenty one all other bequeathes to be paid two years after there mothers Decease
I hereby appoint Daniel D. Nickle sole Executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made in witness whereof I ahve here unto set my hand and seal the thirtieth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty three

This eleventh day of March A.D. 1843
Before me Geo. W. Connely Register for the probate of wills and granting letters of administration in and for the County of Venango personally came Alexander Sollinger and James Huston two of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing will and being duly sworn according to law did depose and say that they were present and saw and heard William Nickle the testator sign, seal, publish pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing in and for his testament and last will and at the time of so doing he was of perfect and sound mind memory and understanding to the est of our knowledge observation and belief.
